I still don’t think tap water tastes as good as bottled here in the desert, but we started running it through a charcoal filter that’s built into our fridge and it tastes great. We haven’t bought bottled water since.
Tap water run through Reverse Osmosis systems are great too. It’s inexpensive to get a 5 gallon bottle and fill it up once a week at the grocery store for great tasting drinking water.

My “tap” water is well water and it’s the most tasty water I’ve ever had. I routinely refill bottled water bottles with my own “tap” water for on-the-road convenience.

I was a bottled water drinker for years but grew up on tap.. effective marketing goes a long way, unfortunately. Hearing the comments about bottled tasting so much better makes me think of the Penn and Teller video you posted a while back. Our water in Maricopa tastes great! We just filter it and keep it cold and it saves us from the use of all that plastic (and whatever harm that may have on our bodies as well as the huge environmental impact) and saves us money.
